Amanda McGee is an artist, designer and illustrator who has been creating art since her childhood. Amanda graduated from the University of Minnesota with a degree in Applied Design.  Thereafter she became a professional artist and designer and has been doing that for over 25 years. Her experience ranges from working in-house at corporate retail businesses, to freelance and self-employment developing art for finished products. Her designs have appeared on greeting cards, gift wrap, home decor, rugs, doormats, textiles and more. 

Currently, she enjoys creating in her home studio in Ohio, where she lives with her husband, two kids and dog.  She’s inspired by bright cheerful colors, whimsically illustrated patterns, happy flowers, fun expressive lettering, vintage and retro style designs and cute things! She likes to combine traditional medium with digital and hopes her art will bring a smile to someone’s face.

In her free time, she loves living a creative life being a maker, sewer, baker, gardener or crafter.   What she enjoys the most though is making memories with her family.
