Fall Preparations

I just went into panic mode. Thanksgiving, the holiday that I host for the entire family, is just a month away. Yikes! It is time for the annul deep clean of the house in preparation. Today's weather is still predicted to be on the warmer side, so windows inside and outside it is. Getting that accomplished sure helps jump start everything else.

Starry Night quilt a couple of quilting goddesses are working with me to piece. I have always loved this quilt, and with their help, we will have this version done in no time. This quilt is a great work up to using the Sew Kind of wonderful Wonder Curve Ruler, the ruler that we will be using for the new BOM for 2023 Floral Felicity.

I have chosen a dark navy scrappy background and soft colors (mostly Tilda) for the features. I am totally in love with this look.

Discussion is still happening with this class. We will be holding in Mid-January, with a February snow date. I think I found a perfect line of fabrics for the temperature blades-and of course, we will offer several ombre backgrounds if you choose to do a look similar to this. Have you thought about doing other years besides the current year? Maybe your birth year, or the year you got married. I think the information for any chosen dates will be accessible to find.
PS...I easily found daily temps for my little hometown for my birth year-so use your imagination, this is gonna be fun.
