Our break from the heat today makes us think of Fall-it is just right around the corner. This has to be my favorite time of year. I love the colors-from deep reds, greens, gold and orange. Time to get to know your neighbors-our new weekly Sit and Sew
All Around the Neighborhood. Starting Sept 1, we will work for 12 weeks on this fun and welcoming quilt top. Learn a new technique, brush up on skills of an old method and of course, enjoy the friendship of others as we walk our way through the neighborhood. Class will be held Thursdays from 2-4 pm. Weekly cost is $5 and includes pattern for the week.
Starter kits available for the center and finishing kits for borders and bindings will be available.

My friend Janice really needs help with white-gloving at the fair! These are the shifts that she still needs to fill. Please consider grabbing a few friends and signing up. She can't do this alone!
Just send me a private message, and I will give you her email address! The quilt show at the fair is a huge draw and encourages others to support the art of quilting. We all need to do our part to keep quilting alive and viable for the future!
